With a change at the top, the HBC Group continues to focus on continuity in Germany and Austria while also turning its attention to European expansion. Gert Schlossmacher assumes the role of CEO, and Hauke Martinsen moves to the HBC Board, where he will continue his responsibilities in the Group’s MGA business.
Following the successful growth phase of recent years, the Hanseatic Broking Center Group (HBC) will continue its growth trajectory over the coming years with its new partner Bridgepoint. To this end, the Hamburg-based Group is reorganising its management: going forward, Gert Schlossmacher, founder and current member of the HBC Board, will assume the role of CEO. Hauke Martinsen, who has played a decisive role in shaping HBC’s development as CEO since its founding, will move to the Board; he will also retain his executive role on the management team of Gaede & Glauerdt.
With this setup, the HBC Group is continuing its successful, dynamic growth trajectory and is focusing on the next steps in the DACH region and beyond.
The market is in a phase of consolidation and therefore continues to offer significant growth potential. In recent years, HBC has successfully positioned itself as a dynamically growing company and a partner to the insurance industry, and through the new partnership with the Bridgepoint Group has now created the necessary conditions for further profitable growth.
